Dr. Stohrer received his undergraduate degree from Baldwin-Wallace College and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College. Realizing that chiropractic care was helpful with conditions such as back pain, neck pain, stress reduction, headaches, and soft tissue injuries, it became apparent that chiropractic treatment was not enough for the majority of today’s health care issues. Seeing a real need in the community to respond to current health issues with a non-drug therapy approach, Dr. Stohrer expanded his knowledge base. This included studies in functional blood chemistry, neurotransmitters and brain chemistry, neuroendocrine immunology, homeopathic medicine, live blood cell analysis, nutritional and herbal therapies, environmental toxicity and detoxification, Applied and Clinical Kinesiology, Neuro-Emotional Technique, Emotional Freedom Technique, as well as research into the nature of consciousness itself, otherwise known as mind/body medicine.
Currently, Dr. Stohrer’s focus is on nutrition and detoxification, as well as mind-body medicines, or energy psychology, where he feels he can best serve his clients. Today, Dr. Stohrer uses an approach that includes the best of the scientific methods, such as blood testing, saliva testing, and stool analysis, along with the best alternative analysis that includes kinesiology (muscle testing). What has emerged is a truly unique approach that allows for a more complete analysis of our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This approach has consistently proven to provide results where other alternative and conventional medical efforts have failed.
